A Busy Year
I realize that I do this all the time. I post on my blog and then go months without posting. I promise one day posting will become a regular task. This year has been full of so many blessings. There is never a dull moment in our household. With 2 girls there is always something going on.
Graci is in the middle of her Kindergarten year. Her teacher says that she is a "Leader" in the classroom. Adam and I are so proud of her. She has made some sweet friends this year. She loves to read and loves to draw. She is a perfectionist (not me at all) and always wants to do her best on her work. It has been hard going back to work and leaving Mattie Ruth but being able to go to school with Graci everyday has been the best!! On my rough days I will see her in the hall and she will get out of line and give me the biggest hug and smile. Nothing like a hug from your daughter to make a rough day at work better. We are praying that she continues to love school and build strong friendships.
Mattie Ruth will be 6 months old Jan. 1st. She is getting so big so fast. She has discovered her voices and loves to talk to us through screaming. She has the cutest laugh and laughs the hardest when her sister is being silly. She is rolling over and scoots on her back when she wants to get somewhere. We thing she will be crawling soon. She has just about figured out how to set-up. She can do it by herself for about 20secs. then looses her balance. But for those 20 secs she feels as big as Graci. We have been very blessed that Mattie is a happy baby. She does not fuss unless she is sleepy or hungry. We are looking forward to many years of watching both girls grow and and change.

Mattie Ruth, Kindergarten, and are family
Well summer is over and school days have started!! I can not believe how much time has flown by. July 1st our Mattie Ruth was born! Things have not been the same since. Even the lack of sleep has not changed the fact that we are so thankful to have her in our family now. My favorite part about Mattie Ruth is seeing Graci with her. She absolutely loves her little sister and we could not be even more proud of Graci. She is the best big sister ever. Mattie is always going to be taken care of by her big sis! Mattie is 6 weeks old now and growing and changing everyday. She weighed 6lbs 8ozs when she was born and is well over 8lbs now. She smiling so much. It melts our hearts and we just sit and look at her thinking "God is amazing."
Graci has started kindergarten. She goes to Joyner and has the best teacher. She has just completed her first week of school. With 2 falls. hurt knees, and some tears we are still loving school. She gets up every morning ready to go. I am so blessed for that. When I dropped her off the first day I was prepared for some hesitation but she walked in her room put her back pack up and never looked back. We are looking forward to a great year of making new friends and learning new things.

Summer Update
This has been great Summer. We have been swimming and playing friends. Adam has been busy with basketball and camps. Which that is how he likes to stay. Graci and I however, have been enjoying doing nothing and taking it easy. Graci has been to 2 VBS and swimming lessons so far. She is going to go to an art camp that will be taught by my friend Sarah the 2nd week in July. She is really looking forward to that. Our summer is really about to pick up in the next 2 days. I am being induced on Thursday morning. Mattie Ruth will be born July 1st!! I can not believe the time has come. Adam and I are so excited and very anxious. Graci has been counting down since last week. She is so ready to be a big sister. Here is a peek at our summer....I hope everyone is having a great Summer!!

A year that flew by!!
This has been a fast year. It is hard to believe that I have just finished my first year of teaching. It was a great year and I was blessed to have some sweet kids. I learned a lot this year and hope that it makes me better teacher for next year. I am 34 weeks pregnant. Mattie Ruth's due date is July 7th. Adam, Graci, and I are beginning to get impatient and are ready to see the new member of our family. Graci, graduated form Pre-K. She had the best year any girl could ask for. She feel in love with her teachers Ms. Austin and Mrs. Johnson. Going to school everyday all day has been so good for her. She has grown up so much and has the biggest personality. Her little sister is not going to know what to think about her BIG sis. We celebrated Graci's 5th birthday this year. I can not believe that she is 5. She celebrated it with friends and family. She will be starting Kindergarten this August at my school (Joyner). She got the award at her end of the year celebration for "Future Teacher". That really says a lot about her personality. Adam and I celebrated our 1st year of marriage this past May 22. I am so thankful that God blessed me with such a wonderful husband. Graci and I have truly rocked his world. In Graci's words, "Coach your out numbered". This summer we are planning to relax until Mattie gets here. Between basketball camps, swimming lessons, VBS, and a baby coming this will be a fast and nonstop summer.

New Computers and fun
Adam and I are thankful that the TPSD are giving all teachers new computers. We received 2 new Apple Mac Pros Wednesday. We are going to enjoy not having to bum off of Annie and Pop fro computer time. Last night Adam and I were both on our computers and Graci decided she did not want to feel left out so she joined in the computer fun.
