New Computers and fun
Adam and I are thankful that the TPSD are giving all teachers new computers. We received 2 new Apple Mac Pros Wednesday. We are going to enjoy not having to bum off of Annie and Pop fro computer time. Last night Adam and I were both on our computers and Graci decided she did not want to feel left out so she joined in the computer fun.

It's Been to Long!!
Wow...it has been a long time since I have posted anything on our blog. I am so sorry for the delay. We are doing great!!! Graci is loving her first year in all day all week pre-school at ECEC. She has a wonderful teacher who has taken care of her and is teaching her so much. She has just about perfected writing her name. She rides the school bus every afternoon to my school and gets off with her new friend Emma. At the beginning of the year she complained alot about the bus being hot but we have know complaints now as the year has gone on. Graci is anticipating the arrival of her new baby brother or sister. She is so excited about being a big sister!!
Adam, is busy with school and basketball. He has a good team this year and we are looking forward to the championship games this week. GO TMS!!
I am doing good as well. I can not believe that I only have 5 more months to go of my 1st year of teaching. It has been good, stressful, and busy all at the same time. We are expecting Baby Kirk July 7th. Adam and I are blessed that our family is growing. This is just a brief update about what is going on in our lives.

PICTURES FROM OUR SUMMER
I know it has been a while!!!
Hey...so this past weekend I have had a couple of people inform me that I do not update my blog enough. I am sorry, Adam and I don't have computer so I have to use my parents computer. The problem is that when we come over here I forget to take time and update. We just got through talking to my nephew on the computer and my sweet sister-in-law told me that I need to update...so now I am taking time to update.
We have had an WONDERFUL summer being a family and getting settled in our house. We have had a BUSY summer as well. After our wedding and moving in to the house we took a trip to New Orleans to celebrate the wedding of my close friend Catherine and Gray. Graci and I were both attendants in the wedding. The wedding was beautiful and we are so thankful that Catherine and Gray asked us to be a part of it. A few weeks after that we had vbs at our church and then Graci took swimming lessons with her cousin Weston. That was such a long week. Everyday Graci would not want to go but would end up having a great time after she went. She had a great teacher (Mrs. Hailey) and really enjoyed getting to spend a whole week with her cousin Weston. They helped each other get through the week and are great swimmers now. At the end of June we celebrated the birth of my niece Micah Reid Benson. She is a beautiful healthy baby with two parents who are adjusting to parenthood and love their daughter very much!! WELCOME TO THE FAMILY REID...Griffin and Graci have been waiting for a new cousin!!!
July 4th was a big holiday for the Benson family especially for Pop and Annie because this was the first time for them to have all of their grandchildren together. The second week of July, Adam and I went with the church youth to RYM (reformed youth ministry) that took place in Laguna Beach, FL. We had a great week learning from some great teachers and getting to know the youth at our church. Our church is blessed with a great group of kids. Now, the summer has come to an end. Adam and I are getting ready to start the school year. I have been working on my classroom and trying not to stress out. Now that I have bored everyone with this essay about our summer...I will now post pictures. We hope everyone else has had a great summer and doing well.
