Adam and I have finally decided to get internet. My promise to him was that if he let us get internet I would keep the blog up. Well, it has been a month since our change to the 21st century of the internet and I am finally putting a new post. YAY!!!!
I don't know where to start...it has been so long since I have posted that I am not going to even try and catch you up. Let's just talk about now.
Graci, is in 1st grade. I know...it is hard to believe. She has lost her 2 bottom teeth. She is growing up so fast and is growing up to be a sweet and thoughtful little girl. She is definitely her on person. She and I clash when it comes to her clothes. She has her on style (not sure what it is yet) and it does not mix with mine. But, we have learned to pick out our clothes the night before and it makes our mornings go so much smoother. Graci, is also taking dance this year. She loves it and is making a ton of new friends.
Mattie Ruth (our wild child), has grown up so fast. She is 14 months and is full of energy. She wants so bad to be as big as Graci but she is not there yet. She has got a fun personalty and is always smiling. She and Graci have so much fun together. My favorite is when Graci makes Mattie laugh and neither on of them can stop. Moments like that are times I pray that they last. Mattie is walking and is fast. We say, "that she does not walk, she runs." She has got 8 teeth. She had to have tubes over the summer but did not miss a beat. Annie, (my mom) keeps Mattie everyday well the rest of us got to work. We are very thankful for that.
Adam and I are doing great. I am in my 3rd year of teaching 2nd grade at Joyner. So far the year has started of crazy but good. I would not know what to think if things were not crazy. :) Adam, on the other hand has had a lot of changes this year. At the end of last school year he was offered the position as assistance varsity boys basketball coach. With lots of prays he took the job of coaching which also meant he would have to go into the classroom. He was nervous about that part of the job. Well, 3 weeks into the job God brought another opportunity for him. He was offered a counseling position at the high school. His first question of course was, "can I still help coach basketball?" The answer was "yes". So, Adam is now a counselor and assistant basketball coach at the high school. Wow....God is amazing.
Well, I think that this brings you all up to speed.
